archithese, founded in 1972, appears six times a year with each issue devoted to one specific theme. The magazine is dedicated to trailblazing current international architectural discourse. New tendencies and innovative projects are both comprehensively documented and critically reviewed, while attention is also focused upon historical themes of interest. Each year’s first issue, titled “Swiss Performance”, offers a review of the previous year’s Swiss building activity.

archithese occasionally devotes individual issues to contact with related disciplines. Interdisciplinary references are established with art, philosophy and the natural sciences, as well as applied areas such as CAAD or building and communications technology.
