On July 1st, 2007, the publishing house Benteli Verlag has been taken over by Viktor Heer, owner of the publishing house Niggli Verlag and the print shop Heer-Druck. The Benteli Verlag is continued to be run by Till Schaap as a seperate enterprise in cooperation wih the Niggli Verlag, at the locations in Bern and Sulgen.

The focus of the publishing house lies on art and photography as well as «Bernensia» (books and calenders about art and culture in Bern). Of main interest is the art of the 20th and 21st century. Paul Klee’s Catalogue raisonné is one of the most important projects in this sector.
