Benteli publishers are part of the bsmediagroup founded by Markus Bättig and Daniel Stierli October 1, 2009. The bsmediagroup ranks among the largest media houses in east Switzerland and incorporates – besides the quality printer Heer Druck AG – Niggli Publishers for Architecture, Design and Typography as well as the architects´magazine archithese and the regional newspaper Neuer Anzeiger.

Markus Bättig and Daniel Stierli succeeded Viktor Heer, the founder of Heer Druck AG in Sulgen, who took over Benteli Publishers on July 1, 2007 incorporating it into the Heer Druck AG group.

The publishing house managed by Daniel Stierli is based in Zurich and Sulgen.
